“Wealth” is a relative concept. If you live in a first-world country, for instance, odds are that you are fantastically wealthy by the standards of someone living in the slums of Delhi. When most people daydream about wealth, odds are that they aren’t thinking about a specific balance on a bank statement. They’re thinking about the lifestyle and freedom that wealth affords. Wealth means not having to clock in at a job you hate, having to scramble to pay your bills every month, or having to decide between having health insurance and child care. Most people don’t even dream of being “rich,” they just dream of not having to live a life of drudgery just to survive.
This sigil speaks to that deeper underlying sentiment.
