“I will be spiritually and emotionally connected to the world around me”

This sigil, inspired by a message from one of our Tumblr followers, speaks to our deep need for connection to others, to ourselves, and to this ever-changing thing called life. It’s a particularly fitting sentiment for the approaching holiday of Samhain (you also know it as Halloween, of course), a time when both spiritual and emotional connections are at the forefront of many Wiccan and pagan people’s minds.

But it’s a bigger sentiment than that, isn’t it? Regardless of the specifics of your faith, odds are that you hunger for a strong connection with this shared experience of existence. We all want to feel like we have a place in the world, and that we’re on the right path.

This sigil, a mix of Ogham and curved-up Anglo-Saxon runes, simply seeks to remind us that it’s only natural to want that connection.
