While it’s usually a good idea to assume the best about other people until they prove otherwise, the reality is that there are some real jerks out there. Malicious, mean-spirited, petty, jealous, vindictive, and otherwise awful people are rare, but they do exist. While you can certainly take steps to avoid them, sometimes these people decide to plant themselves firmly in your path. When that happens, the best course of action is often to simply minimize their impact on your life, and to keep the harm to yourself and your loved ones to a minimum.

That’s what this sigil speaks to. Suggested by a Tumbler follower who was having problems with an acquaintance who brought tons of uninvited drama and damage into her life and relationship, the aim of this sigil is to let all that noise and thrashing slip by, never connecting with anything important or causing harm to those who matter.
